Hi.
How do you place mods into your server?
Does the file go into the .cfg file and the main folder on your server?
Thanks.
All mods go in the same place, regardless of whether it's a server or your game system; they all go in the Call of Duty/Main folder. On your personal system, just browse to where you installed CoD and put the mod(s) in your Main folder. With your server, however, assuming you purchased it from a Game Server Provider, you'll need to connect to your server using an FTP program (i.e. WS_FTP, LeapFTP, CuteFTP, etc.); check with your GSP for connection info.
As for whether the mods require their own config files or commands added to your servers default config file is totally dependant on the mod itself. Maps, for example, are just placed in Main and that's it. However, CoD conversions (i.e Heat of Battle Mod) or Realism mods (i.e. CKR, PRM, etc.) or CoD admin mods (i.e. PAM, CoDam, etc.) have their own config files as well as require additions to your servers config file. Again, it's totally dependant on the mod.
Generally, all mods come with a readme of sorts, especially those that require config additions/changes. So, be sure to read it after downloading the mod(s).

It's not quite true that mods all go in the same place, they can be loaded from other folders too with the use of fs_game. But that's irrelevant for most of the mods for CoD right now, as with them it's just a matter of putting the .pk3 in /main
Most mods also add their own cvars which you will need to use, these'll either be shown in the readme that accompanies the mod or in a sample config.
Don't confuse him with fs_path/fs_game commands Sac :P
Let him get used to one method first :!:
