View Full Version : Server not showing up in list for LAN

So, i setup the server, and got the .CFG file done and all, but, when i started it up, it would not load the Server.cfg file, Stupid windows named it server.cfg.txt but i could see the dedicated in the list for local games, i renamed the file to server.cfg and it loaded and disabled the noobtube and poop gernades, but, now i cant see the game in the local list, im not sure why, i have gone through the server.cfg file a few times to see, but, i dont see anything that would do that. Any assistance would be appriciated, i might have just exaused my eyes and am missing something. i launch with

Good point, i had not set the server with a static address till the other day. been having fun with allot of other things, but, i will get the address plugged in and see. Would that prevent the showing tho? damn thing. So many lines to add to have controll of everything. Thanks :)

K, added the address for the server and still nothing, does not show up, but i can connect with the /connect command, i did also notice that if i go the the menue while playing, i can click the add server to favorites and it comes up with a blank tab that only has a "ok" button.... dunno what that means.....

Again, i appriciate the help.

As a added side not to the admins of the site, i have recently gotten my hands on the mod for the COD WaW nazi zombie mode that adds the modern warfare guns to it. I im working on the COD4 server first tho, but, if yall want the files, just let me know.

Once i can get this server back online correctly, i will be adding a second network card to it so we can have it work for BOTH LAN and WAN players, i havent even tried working with that yet either tho, one step at a time :p
