cannot precache 'xanim/idleAnim' what does that mean. Couple of us got that when we switched to a few of our custom maps. Yet we had them playing fine earlier today. Any suggestions?

Did you do anything since playing those maps? Could you play those maps when you saw the error? How many pk3's do you have in your main folder?

i am currently having the exact same problem.the maps worked fine when they were first downloaded and then after a few rotations i get the same exact error upon loading a select few .trying myself to figure it out with no avail.if u figure it out please let me know :P

I had the same problem "cannot precache 'Xanim viewmodel_kar98mp_idle'". I deinstalled COD AND deleted the folder completely by hand from my PC. Reinstalled COD. This helped. I guess extra PK3 files which are autodownloaded from non-pure servers are giving the problem. Files like ulta realisem.pk3 etc. If u delete all those PK3 files from COD/Main that are NOT maps which u can play the problem should be resolved!
