Below is a post i left on TWL cod game forums it was quickly erased
I beleive it was erased quickly because it shows with out a doubt that they were caught again showing favourtism

When due rules get followed

Have a question for you admins here,
1 If you have a rule that states"-Match time: All players should join the server on time. Once they have joined they should stay on their respective sides without TKing or killing the other team. TKing your teammates before a round starts for weapon pickups is considered and exploit and will be treated as such.

-So in our match it clearly shows this happening with a TWL admin present and his comment to us is to stop complaining???

2 If you have a rule that states:
Type of Game play: Team Death Match
Number of Maps: 3
Number of Squads: 2
Time Limit: 20 minutes per map
Friendly Fire: On (No Exceptions)

-So in our match the TWL Admin Hellstorm sets the match for 30 minutes and when we question him on this he says he is right and we are wrong???

3 Your rules state
In the event of a major ping discrepancy, (+/- 75ms Average difference between teams) a neutral server must be used unless both Teams agree that the match should proceed.

- in our match we post this clearly that we have over a 100 ping discrepancy and the Admin ignores it over and over.

4 your rules state
All members of all squads are responsible for treating each other with respect during the match. Please respect those in the server at all times and please don't be careless with your language.

- In our match the TWL admin started out by calling us dumb
because we asked the other team to stop tking themselves

I expect this thread will be deleted once someone from twl can see it.I have heard the old story" send us the demo's, talk to us on Irc".To date nothing ever gets done on anything unless you belong to a team that has a TWL admin on it.

whats the point of having rules if they are not followed.

Remeber it takes a real man to admit when he is wrong and an even bigger one to correct his mistake

Leagues in general come with extra baggage. You have to understand when you join a league that the people who put it together are people just like yourself and the people around you. They're likely to see things from a single point of view and not want to see it any other way. This isn't because they're playing favorites, but rather because when you watch over several hundred to a thousand people you tend to get jaded about how things should be.

As far as them not abiding by the rules they themselves set, that's rediculous. I've honestly never had the pleasure, or displeasure depending on your POV, of playing in a league, but you're right that rules are written to be followed, not as some basic guidelines to be interpreted on the spot (which generally leaves way too much room for error).

The other thing that's rediculous is not being able to openly complain about such things. I have little respect for any clan, league or general website where they're so close-minded they can't handle a little criticism. Or one step further, explain their point of view/side of the matter.

I say that if you've made complaints before and nothing's been done, then you and your clan are wasting your time with them. It doesn't sound like a league built on fairness, and all tournament-type systems should have fairness as their primary objective. So do yourselves a favor and find another league to join. You'll be happy you did in the long run.

Why would it be deleted, nobody from TWL works here. I know they are full of what you have described, just look at the Tribes 2 Renegades ladder.

Sorry you are having such problems, I would skip all the immediate admins and send to a member of the Senior staff.

I wouldn't bother with CAL either; unfortunately, they're closely affiliated with the TWL swines. Also heard same complaints about the OGL ladders. The only kind of fair, unbiased ladders would be those where the admins themselves do not compete in the same ladders as everyone else. Otherwise, favoritism will always be present and prominent.

:( I only have experience with TWL and it has not been a pleasant experience at that. The competion managers need to crack down on the admins to enforce the rules as written.

I checked the TWL forums page again today, and sure enough all the posts have been removed. They do not like their dirty laundry aired in public.
