Is anyone else getting this error, then your gameserver stops and you have to restart it?

If so, how do you fix it so it doesn't happen?

not my server, but my client did this tonight.. right around the time you wrote that too.. it was late so i called it a night anyways

check this out, in the cod4 server support forum

there is a bug that allows hacking the vote on a codserver. Its fixed in cod1 and 2 with files. Not so in cod4. It may be the same thing happening in codwaw

It has only happened to us once - last night about 9:30PM PST. All the players (about 40) got the error you quote above, and everybody got dumped. One player afterward said he was actually in another server that did it, tried to come to ours and found it down too.

Nobody could find me to restart it, but it recovered on its own after about 10 min and has been solid since.

It happened to me every day. I found this:

Is a exploit, in cod4 1.7 it was fixed.

I'm seeking for a solution to... :confused:

I pasted this info on to Treyarch (however they never confirmed my email or even a thank you).

I'll send it again, However I know at least one other GSP forwarding this info to them a while back.

How can so many issues be passed on from game to game with the same engine.

Rude, any word back from Treyarch? We're getting hammered out here as it seems the "how to" on this has reach across the globe.
