Reuters (http://www.reuters.com/article/technologyNews/idUSN1449233320090115?feedType=RSS&feedName=technologyNews) is sourcing the Wall Street Journal regarding possible cuts to Microsoft's work force. While Microsoft is reported to have close to 91,000 employees around the globe. They may be cutting up to 15,000 jobs, states earlier reports. This is all speculation as Microsoft has not commented on any of these layoff reports.
The real interesting point from all this is, Microsoft has never laid off any employees, in it's history. To do so could hurt Microsoft's stock price, more then the actual cost of these employees.
Lets all hope that our guy Ryan Miller (http://www.socrossblog.com/), the Microsoft PC gaming manager is safe from all this.
