Hey guys,
I'd like to see if anyone knows of a way to play COD5 online while being connected to a router. (My router is a linksys BEFW11S4 V.2)
I know they do not recommend using a router... but, let's face it.

I'm having the hardest time finding a workaround.

I need to be connected to a router because of where my computer is located. :(

Anyone?

I'm behind a router and I have no issues.

Consumer routers are by default like this:
Allowing all outgoing
Allow incoming only if requested from inside the LAN
Disallow all other incoming

As a client, you should have no problems.

If you are behind a business-class router such as a cisco, it will only allow this type of traffic if the firewall is set to reflexive.

Most homes users are behind a router.

As long as you are not trying to setup a server behind the router (can be easily done just need to forward ports) you should be able to fire up the PC, launch the game and browse online servers.

Give us more details and we may be able to help
