These are the settings I have for twar. What I want to be able to do is change the settings so that on each map that I have twar gametype on, it lasts more than 1 round.
The way it is now is after 1 team caps all the flags the map is over and my server changes maps. I have checked everywhere and have not be able to fix it.

From what I have read, I think there is a bug that stops it from going above one round. I have my rounds set to 2, and it still only plays out 1.

Just curious, how many slots do you have on your server, and does it crash when it's full?

My server crashes when it's full. Same exact bug it had in beta that I tried to get them to fix in the first patch. Game mode is pretty much useless since you can't have a full server without crashing.
ALSO, I'm inclined to believe not having more than 1 round is a bug. If you try to create a server thru the game, when you select War as a gamemode, there is not option for the number of rounds like there is with other game modes. I hope they fix this. Some games, it's just a completely steam roll and the map lasts less than 5 minutes.

My server does not crash when full or atleast not yet and I have a 20 man server. Also I have the same problem, sometimes 1 side gets steamrolled and boom the map changes.

I hate to hear it MDuke, but I'm glad it's not me. I thought I had an issue with installing the first patch, but apparently not.
And yeah the match can be a steamroll, the only way to get around that is to adjust the momentum swings. I always tell everyone on the server to just try harder :p
I sincerely hope they fix the crashing issue, as well as the multiple round bug in the next patch.

By setting this to 0 will it disable momentum in stock servers?
Anyone tried that yet?
That might make a single round a lot longer than standard.

I have a 30 slot server and works a charm when full.
The only thing I would like to know is how to change the respawn time

Preacher can you post your Twar settings. As far as adjusting spawn timing, I believe you can add in a similar line to the other gametypes:
set scr_twar_playerrespawndelay "5"
I have not tested it personally, but I've seen it in a few people's config file.

Keep us updated please, I'd like to know how long you go without crashing. I like the momentum swings and I'd really hate to get rid of them, but if it 100% fixes the crashes, I guess I could deal with it.

I don't think you can at the moment. It needs to be fixed by Treyarch.

I was having the same problem with respawn times and this setting worked perfectly for me. Thanks very much for the help. I added this line under my twar settings.

Ok for starters, you cannot possibly change the number of rounds in TWAR.
The reason that its default round is 2, is because Final fight is considered another round.
and the only time it kicks into round 2 is when its a draw and its time for final fight.
if u set this to 1 round then there will be no final fight. a win is a win and a draw is a draw.
the problem with the servers constantly crashing when full was the respawn delay. if u set the command line scr_twar_respawndelay "5" into your twar settings you will not crash at all.
This Explained: When u die and its time for you to respawn, the server looks for a safe spot for it to place you. Now becasue the default setting for twar is no respawn delay, the server doesnt have enough time to search for a safe spot for it to spawn you, so it just places you its first available. When it cant find a safe spot, The server Hits a major cvar error thus.. crashes!
giving the server 5 secnds instead of none to find a safe respawn time for players prevents the server from not finding any safe points and crashing.
hope this makes sense to you guys.

its set to 15 minute rounds, and 5 minute final fight if it gets to that ofcourse

Nice try, but that is not 100%...the server will still crash, just not nearly as much. I spent a considerable amount of time playing with spawn settings, time limits, amount of people on server, etc, etc...and never got to a point where the server NEVER crashed. All I was able to do was limit the amount of times it crashed. If you were able to stop 100% of the crashes, then I'm happy for you, but you are one of the few. This setting was discussed extensively in another post.

3 days and the server didn't crash. Unfortunately it crashed on day 4, 2x -.-
If this isnt fixed in the next patch by treyarch or whoever is in charge..
COD waw failed.
Could it be the server providers fault?
maybe the hardware they use cant support such traffic.
who knows? all i know is the constant crashing on the servers has to stop or ill be moving to another game.
