Autobalance not working?

Hey everyone, I run a fairly popular 48 man CTF Server (205.234.152.49:28960), and autobalance doesn't seem to want to work!

I've tried using rcon to use "/rcon set scr_teambalance 1"

and I've put the same command in the config.. so why isn't it working?

Thankss SO much for any and all help. If someone can cure this problem, it's $10 for ya! :)

It should only read like this in your config. set scr_teambalance "1"

Yep, that's exactly what we have in our cnofig :

set scr_teambalance "1"

It's probably much like COD4's autobalance which is almost non existent. It mainly balances at the end of the round which if you have only one round per map makes it useless.

I haven't really paid attention to how well it's working in my servers but I'll post back if I find anything of interest. My assumption though is that like many other features this will be something that can be improved on once the mods start rolling out.

I had same problem,only way to improve it (but not totally fix it) was to remake all the cfgs for the server from scratch.
I went from no autobalance at all to when it feels like it :salute:

So you think maybe the clutter in a .cfg is what causes it to not work?

I'll give that a shot later today probably... if my server empties out.

It's the same block of code that was carried over from CoD4. It requires modding :)
