I was wondering if I do a re-install, will I sill keep my rank? I'm hopping a re-install will fix it. I was able to run all the maps in the demo with no problems.

Your profile can be saved, I keep mine on a USB drive just to be extra careful... I have had a couple of hard drive issues recently.
Now the tricky thing is to find your profile, If your running Vista you will find it buried in some hidden directory's.
C:\Users\Pendragon\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW \players\profiles\Pendragon
The directory structure is different with XP so you may have to go hunt to find it.
Try searching for config_mp.cfg

XP puts the players folder and files here - grab it at that level and you get the sub folder profiles
C:\Documents and Settings\nameofyourpc\Local Settings\Application Data\Activision\CoDWaW

Ok I went and downloaded the back-up program for WAW, and i have a back up now. Now I did a seach like you said, but the only thing I found is my back-up file I made. It doesn't show the game profile. I looked in the Activision folder in my C drive but nothing there far as a profile goes. I also found a Activision folder in my Documents folder, but the only thing it had in was screnshots. Why can't they just put it in the main?

you have to turn your hidden folders and files on
1 - Right click on the Start text – click on Explore text in the popup. Click on Tools text, then click on Folder Options.
Click on View tab - look in the Advanced Settings: window
Now check the one marked "Show hidden files and folders"
Now Click "Apply" then "Okay" at the bottom of this window.
