Well, I've hosted servers for other games, and was wondering if there is a way to exec a cod server using a batch file. If it's possible how would I go about doing it? Thanks in advance,

SomeGuy

Are you running Linux or Windows? Are you looking to have the server start with the OS?

If it's Windows and you want it to start from the boot up, make the server a process and it will start before you've even logged on. ;)

Yes, it's a WinXP machine, and I will make it a process when I get the batch file, but I must learn how to make the batch file first... Thanks in advance,

I'm getting very frustrated, anyone else had this problem where their batch file does not work? Wow, it's so frustrating!

Post what you're using so we can take a look. I haven't done batch programming in quite some time, but seeing it can do wonders for the memory.

Would you be interested in a VBS file instead (Visual Basic Script)? I can give you coding for that to start your server.

That would be very helpful, thanks, but I scratched all my batch files already... lol, got too frustrated and forgot how to do some things with it (besides not knowing all of the right things to execute with the server) So yes, Email, PM, or post the VBS Script please, that would be very helpful. Thanks in advance,
