Hi,
I am trying to set up a dedicated WaW server on a P4 3.2ghz with 2GB RAM and just onboard video. I am using Windows XP SP2 and DirectX 9.0c installed.
The shortcut i have is simply the following for testing purposes:
"C:\Call of Duty - World at War\CoDWaWmp.exe" +set dedicated 2
When I launch the shortcut, it immediately crashes saying it "..has encountered a problem and needs to close", with the usual send error report, dont send buttons.
After clicking "don't send", I get the CoDWaW console with
"Error during initialization:
Unhandled exception caught"
Any ideas?
I have not installed the patch yet but I am about to try that.
