Can We Turn Off Certain Weapons

I've been trying to just allow certain weapons and perks. It seems if I shut off perks then we lose some weapons that are needed. For instance if I just want betties off I can't do it without disabeling perks. However I want to keep bazookas for tanks. Anybody had any luck with this kind of config?

Sparhawk, Have you tried that? I know that's how it's supposed to work. When I tried it all of those weapons still worked unless I shut perks off completely. But then you lose bazookas and c4. I'm just tryin to get rid of the stupid stuff like betties, martyrdom, juggernaut, last stand. Maybe I'll just have to adjust the stupid stuff to ineffective.

has anyone figured out yet a way to disable the grenades (smoke, frag, etc)? We are running a server that allows only bolt action rifles (which we can only enforce through kicking) and the nade spamming is pretty bad in there.

Yes. I run a fs_game folder and ranks are related only to the servers with a matching fs_game. In this case, my test and public servers have the same ranks, it shares from one to the other.

Perks all the way off or on. You can't select individual weapons without a mod. But there's some good "bolt only" mods out there.

the mods won't be released until treyarch fixes the redirect issue with cod5. They don't think that it's broken, but the people who make the mods do, and the people who make the mods are correct... Treyarch messed up, so we have to wait... and we have been waiting for a month now...

I'm having peeps tell me that there are some bolt rifle mods out there right now. Just can't seem to find any specific info on them. They're relatively small mods and the 12k DL speed isn't a big deal. Takes about a minute or so to DL, as I've been told.

Here is a link for the PAM5 beta mod that can be used to set up a Bolt Rifle only server. PST Joker from the extreme+ crew had a hand in helping develop this. we are running a Bolt Only mod made by Waffles on our server. very simple menu yet very effective bolt only mod.

i only know of one download link though and that is for the 1st version of the mod and the version on our server right now is newer as he came on and fixed some crashing issues for us.
