Call of Duty: World at War PC Patch 1.1

Notes:


Mods are now enabled in Co-op, Single Player, and Multiplayer.
Players will now be notified when a new patch is available.
Improvements for SLI support.
G_Spawn: no free entities crash has been fixed.
Server no longer runs out of script variables.
License key is no longer required to run a Dedicated Server.
A Dedicated Server can now be started from the Command Line via Remote Desktop Connection.
Various fixes in Server Browser.
Players will no longer see multiple friend invites from the same friends.
When a player calls in a recon plane in a Hardcore match, the HUD will properly appear.
Clan Tags will now display in game where appropriate.
Map holes fixed
Spawn improvements and weapon balancing

you need these two files

d3dx9_37.dll

d3dx10_37.dll

And you should get and run DXWEBSETUP.EXE (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3&displaylang=en)

Thanks Mike FYI this was sent out around 2am last night from Activision PR. I just got up and was xfering it to our server when I seen Mike's post.

Nice to see Activisoin pulling an all nighter to get this to us.

It should be noted that there may be another patch in the wild and it not to be used.
The file is called CoDWaW-1.0.1017-PatchSetup.exe. The other file in the patch folder isn't valid. Please only use CoDWaW-1.0.1017-PatchSetup.exe
- some sites are ambitious and want to get things out before reading, only use the 300+ meg patch listed above.

Make sure you use SET not setS, that will fix directx error on server startup.

ok, my point is ... I never had the DX error on dedicated servers ... but otherside in client I had

What does this mean ?

I thougt that we will have some kind of mod, like in cod4 "modernwarfare mod" was.

After patching I had any mods to chose at all.


Anyway.

Still lack of some settings... i.e scr_sd_scorelimit can be set max 12, and scr_sd_roundswitch can't be higher than 9 ...

And wtf is wrong with chat font size ? Is way too BIG! Are we blind old timers (I have only 30y) or what?

hi guys. mike nice to see you and rabbit as well as rudedog.

can anyone help me get the world at war dedi files to my server.
patched or not im stuck with shifting so much info from my home pc when its out friday.
if i try this from my home pc ill be getting less that 768kbs.
it could well take me three to four days on my connection.

would realy be greatful if someone could help.
