View Full Version : Gamestop - console yes, PC no.

I just got back from my local Game Stop. They had the Console version of World at War in stock and were selling it. The PC version had not arrived and wasn't expected until "tommorrow afternoon at the earliest".

Walmart also had the console version but no PC version and were not sure when they would get it. They couldn't sell it until tomorrow though.

huh. well im outside of Kansas City Mo, and the local gamestop guy told me that CODWW isnt street-dated, so if it were in, he could sell it.

I was told by Game Stop that the PC version will arrive via UPS around noon.

same here. i will be out and will stop at wally-world (aka walmart) probably 9 ish in the morning. maybe they will have it then.

You know what makes matters worst? Having the game sitting on your desk since last Saturday and not being able to play it, while your daughter keeps emailing, text messaging and tweeting how good the damn game is....

She is so grounded when I get home ;)

I actually didn''t like the Demo/Beta and have not installed my Copy yet. I'm sure I will get around to it but it really didn't excite me like COD4 did. My Daughter is coming this weekend so I am sure she will make me install it so she can play.

RD, I picked up the game last night, began the install, and got a page at 4:30PM that required me to go in to work until just after 2AM. As far as I know, the install is still sitting there waiting for me to answer a prompt. Unfortunately, all of us have to make a living (I guess).

Grrrrr.... I'm in the UK and it's not out here! We have a couple of clan members in Australia and they have it. :undecided :o :eek:
