Treyarch is making some progress with the g_spawn error it seems. Got this in my support messages today at GameServers.com:
We have installed a new CoD:WW server binary on this server. We need this server tested to make sure that there is no longer the g_spawnEntities crash. This binary should fix all the issues on all game types except Search & Destroy. Make sure that your server is set all the way to the maxplayers. If you have any crashes with the g_spawnEntities let us know immediately and we can relay the information back to Treyarch. This is not a public file and will not work with any other server.
Thank You

My server has been full or nearly so for 2 days now. No crashes.

And you are running normal roundlimits or timelimits?
Not short ones or so on?
Do you have ftp access to that server?can you check if they only changed the exe?
It's good news if they already fix that :D

:undecided That would have been nice if they (GS) would have shared that with some others... No really, I enjoy paying for an empty SD server when all our regulars prefer DOM.

Perhaps it's a limited test on some of the top servers? Not really sure. Our server is ranked #10 worldwide for CoD5 on their GameTracker website.
Our server is still going strong. We had 1 crash, but it was completely unrelated to g_spawn error (for some reason the server doesn't like when you try to ban someone with a reason using HLSW).

regardless, it's great news that it's fixed..
It was indeed a limited test - but with retail around the corner and the fact that the demo's were being deactivated, it was never given the goahead to pushed out.
