Is it possible to do a small weapons mod for the demo version??

I'm just made a small weapons mod for the world at war demo. I placed it in the main folder and have
set sv_allowdownload "1"
seta sv_wwwDownload "1"
seta sv_wwwBaseURL "http://www.myplace.com"
seta sv_wwwDlDisconnected "0"
but it doesn't seem to be working.
Is the demo capable of being modded, or is it not possible because it's just a demo??

I believe the demo is incapable of being modded, perhaps due to the lack of a Mods folder in the install location, which makes it rather hard for the clients to use the files that are downloaded.

Although, I could be wrong, this is just an idea.

As it was posted a few weeks ago.
They said it can not be moded because they don't want people to wast there time because it is just a demo.

Any how why do you want to mod it now? All demo servers will shut down Tuesday on release day.
