Hey guys, first off, I know nothing about mapping. I suck at it. I can get ideas, but I can't get them into the game. So I'm asking for someone to do it for me!! LOL.

3OH is looking for a "bootcamp" style map with the works on firing ranges and training areas.

I'd like to be able to use this map to train new players, help regular players get better, etc. Anyway, What I'd like to see is a map with a basic setting including these things:

A lecture room with podium (more for the look)
A map room would be cool, with the white/black maps on the walls of each multiplayer map (origionals, not the customs)
Firing ranges, short, medium, long range...3-6 targets each
A grenade range with grenade targets (a building with different types of windows for difficulty)
A qualifying range with multiple targets and 3-6 firing pits.
Storage buildings, one for each army represented in the game, with full assortment of weapons from each. (LOTS of nades and ammo)
-with the storage buildings, it would be cool to get a "model" of each army with its uniform (I've seen maps where there are pre-placed bodies so I'm guessing there is a way to do this)
Also an obstacle course would be nice:
over/under logs
crawling course
balance beam obstacle
jumping obstacles
any other ideas that come to mind

I'm asking a lot in this map, but it shouldn't be too hard. I would think that the fact that the texturing would be a lot less detail oriented it would be a relatively easy *though large* map to create. One thing I would like to see is if you can import the silouette targets into the game rather than the red bullseye targets. Other than that, I am looking for a creative mapper who has the basic knowledge of what an army training grounds would look like, and use that as a basis for the textures and format of the map.

I have looked at several "training" maps and none of them really offer the whole package of what I'm looking for. If anyone is interested in doing this, get in touch with me at the forums for www.3oh.net I hope to hear from someone soon!
