How to disable the red name of the opposite team to show up in the game?

I would like to set up my server so only your team mates get the green name over their character. On the demo game servers I've been on, the opposing team players name's show up over their head in red when you aim at them. Problem is, even if you just happen to bring your sights over their position and not really see them, the red name can show up, is a sure give away of their position. So, even though you didn't see anyone there initially, you now know someone is there.

There's a setting to shut off friendly names that i think shuts of all names:

set scr_drawfriend "0"

However, it doesn't work in the demo. Hardcore mode might do it as well, which is also busted in the demo... so... yeah.

Im guessing you can't turn off the obituaries also? Ive tried with no luck.

It's possible that alot of things can't be done in the demo on purpose. After all, I'm sure the makers don't want people playing the demo for months and months. They simply want to wet the appetite of players to get them to buy the game.
