Hey fellas new to the site was referred here off the call of duty boards and would first like to thank you all for the very informative message boards.
Couple of questions.
1. I have a dedicated server in COD WW launched and operational (thanks to you all) but it does not seem to show up in the internet list when i refresh in game. I noticed in the readme of the game that dedicated servers may take a while to show up but how long is a while?
2. Can you issue commands on the fly to the server and if so i would assume you also need to change those commands in the cfg for the next time the server starts up if it happens to go down? Is this done through the console of the server because it is my own server and I have direct access to remote this server or is through the in game console or both?
I am sure I may have a few more questions but no more that I can think of for right now
Thanks in advance fellas

First off, Welcome!
1. I have seen it take several hours to show up in previous CoD titles. No one really knows if it has gotten better.
2. You can issue commands directly into the server console, but it isn't suggested while people are actively playing on the server. The console prints things to its screen VERY SLOWLY while maximized. The players will lag badly with each line the server prints.
However, when you keep the console minimized, data prints to the console very, very rapidly (which obviously you can't see since it is minimized).
I would suggest an external RCON program to send commands to the server (if you aren't already IN the server). RconMax is a good one, although there are others.

And yes, if you wanted those changes you made to be there again the next time you shut down and restart your server, you will want to make those changes in your start-up config file as well.
And again, make sure the server console application is minimized after launching, or your players will experience lag city. ;)
