A Little Bored Already......

I have had my Beta server up since Tuesday, and have been dealing with all the crashes caused by the spawn point problems, but problems aside, I have played several rounds on the 3 maps and I am feeling "Meh." It's fun and the explosions are a little better than COD4, but I don't know if this game is going to hold my attention much longer than COD4 did, which was about 6 months.

Just being honest. Maybe it's me, but COD5 seems more of the same.....

As I've said on the official forums also...

I'm really enjoying the game, BUT I knew what to expect. This game is building on the success of CoD4. CoD4 in the WW2 setting is exactly what I was expecting and wanted. But I do feel Treyarch has taken all that made CoD4 fun and made it even better with the World War 2 elements.

The map design and atmosphere feels hands down better than CoD4. Gameplay also feels better, much slower paced. But not in a bad way, it's more calculated. Moments when you and an enemy are facing off, both behind cover feels more intense and more like 'war' than I've ever experienced in CoD4.


But, if CoD4 only held your attention for 6 months I can understand your frustration.
