error on beta startup ?

any body getting "error during initialization" and "unhandled exception caught" errors ? during the startup of the beta ?

i have a clanner with a q6600 at 2.4ghz with an ati 2600 vid and a dell 22" with 1680 x 1050 ... but it passes the test at

im not getting any luv on google. We did the DirectX update install

Grab the newest dxwebsetup.exe from MS then allow it to pull the updated dx files from their site.

Using an older dxwebsetup.exe (if you have one) will not properly update dx (as i found out the hard way)

yah thats not it, we had him run it twice.

mentions something bout a kernel. He had rolled back his vid driver recently because his 22" res wasnt available. so we're gonna run him thru the latest vid drivers.
