Evidence for Beta release on Monday the 27th:
One of the admins (CM_Schleppy) on callofduty.com posted a code to break that supposedly had more info on the beta. This is what he posted:
Here is my cryptic way of telling you...
9 30 20 39 59 50 79 73 88 95 104 131 132 135 144 150 166 185 198 190 218 215 232 235 241 269 265 270 300 305 313 325 338 348 355 373
This actually could be decoded to give you a better idea, but I will not be posting the algorithm used to generate this coded message.
So the crowd at callofduty.com com got busy working on it. The admin did say it was a rather easy decryption algorythm. And indeed, it appears someone figured it out.
i - 10(n-1)
i = the number given
n = the position in the line of numbers
So the first number is:
9 - 10(1-1) which equals: 9
The second number is:
30 - 10(2-1) which equals: 20
Continue that all the way through and you end up with a new string of numbers that looks like this:
9 20 0 9 19 0 19 3 8 5 4 21 12 5 4 0 6 15 18 0 18 5 12 5 1 19 5 0 20 15 13 15 18 18 15 23
Assuming each of the numbers corresponds to the letter in its alphabetic position (a=1, b=2, c=3, etc.) and the number 0 = a space, then what you end up with is this:
"it is scheduled for release tomorrow"
That is too much of a coincidence to be anything other than the correct answer.
But to further the intrigue, ALL evidence of this post on callofduty.com have been removed. And any posts referencing the answer being found has been deleted as well.
Whether it is being removed because the answer was found (and that information was not supposed to be released to the public), or if it was being removed because Treyarch themselves honestly don't know if that answer is true is obviously not clear.
But this certainly gives some hope for tomorrow...
