Windows Server Config Files

I have just been informed that my COD:WW Server, The Northwest Murder Farm will be a PC beta server.

If anyone has any info on what the server config files will look like, please post them. I hope they will be very similar to the COD4 configs.

I feel 95% confident in saying the CoD:WW config will be VERY similar to a "stock" CoD4 config (not a Modwarfare config).

Mind you this ones not made by the same people is it? No one would have seen the files for CoD:3, being XBox and all...

I keep getting this error:

this application has failed to start because d3dx9_37.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem

I am trying to run a dedicated server by rdping to a windows server 2003 box.

However, in the game install folder there isnt a mp file like came with cod4. so i dont get a console box, any ideas?

Also hosting on a Windows 2k3 Server box (out of The Planet (http://www.theplanet.com)) and I can't even get the beta app to launch - whether I'm using command-line switches similar to my COD4 servers or simply trying to launch it normally. No error message, just a brief view of the hourglass and then nothing. Not seeing any running processes of the beta executable either. :confused:

Any help would be cool as hell. ;)

I had the same problem. All I did was install the latest DX9 Runtimes from Microsoft on my Windows server and the server launched first try from Firedaemon.
