First, what's your connect speed (BB = cable, dsl)? Second, how are your computers connected to eachother and/or the internet?
If you have a decent router or multiple IPs assigned by your ISP, then this should only depend on your connection speed (which would really only show up as lag for the three of you). If you're using ICS or something similar, don't know what to tell ya... :?

If your on a router, chances are that it's a NAT device and you need to specify ports on each machine.
Look at the shortcut on your desktop, add "+set net_port 28961" to your shortcut.... here's mine.
"F:\Call of Duty-Patched\CoDMP.exe" +set net_port 28968
Each machine needs to specify a differant port number, starting from 28960.
This will solve most of the lan issues, however a more strict firewall on the router may not allow it. Go into Address reservations or something similar and assign static LAN IP's to each machine, note each machines internal IP (192.168.0.x usually)
Next find Port forwarding, make sure you tell it that incoming requests on port 28960 are forwarded to the machine IP that has 28960 specified in the shortcut. Do the same for the other two.
We have six machines in the house and all six are able to get on our server simultaniously.

Try using the same CD key on all the PC's ... assuming you are using NAT then this will work perfectly.
