Say what you will about Cryteks complaining about people pirating their work. They understand that for a game to succeed people want to be able to make their own content. The better the community content is, the longer the game will be on the shelves where people can buy
We wanted to make sure that people received the best game play experience in both single and multiplayer, so as such we decided to focus all of our energy and attention in that direction originally.

We are now working on the Editor and SDK solution for Warhead and Wars.

We are definitely aware that the community is eager to get this software, and we will provide it as soon as it is complete and available.

For now we hope you enjoy both the single player and multiplayer experiences provided until the Sandbox editor and ModSDK are released.

It is possible to play many of the custom levels that have been created for Crysis Multiplayer in Crysis Wars, so we encourage everyone to make use of the automatic map downloader and get hold of some of the great creations from the community and play them on the game servers.

I lost faith in cryteks coding abilities along ago when they said the empty server PB UCON bug would be fixed in the 1.1 patch, well close to a year later, here we are on a new game and the bug still exists in both Crysis and Crysis Wars.

great auto downloader, doesnt even put the files in right place, u have to move them over to work, so u have to log out of game move folder and go back in again. doesnt anybody test this stuff out beforehand?? losing faith to, waiting to see if the farcry 2 people can pull it off.

Hmmm...doesn't fill me with warm and fuzzies. I played the SP last weekend (game is short...done in 8 or so hours of game play over 1 night and 2 days...it's an episode...picks up where the first one left off), and was planning on trying Wars this weekend.

The first one showed how many bugs they left in the game after it shipped, I picked up warhead/warhammer... what ever it's called just for the MP side of the game.

... not impressed as much as I would think, so I have not played it much.

I'm waiting for FarCry 2 (man has anyone seen the in game editor --- WOW
Then there's COD:WW which I'm really looking forward too.

Again crysis has not lived up to what I expected. maybe I'll give it another go this weekend or next week while taking some comp days from work.

Yeah, I'm waiting for FC2 as well. Crysis (aside form the graphics and physics) never really impressed me...I bought both, primarily because they were $30. Well, you get roughly $30 worth of gameplay out of the SP.

But, I'm a diehard WWII-genre player...so, you know that I'll be taking time off in November...:D

I didnt like Crysis and with what your saying saying Rude I dont think I will bother with the sequel. Not sure about FC2 either tbh. The only open world game I liked and still like is HL2. Crysis is just boring.

Actually, Crysis, the sequel, is a lot like HL2 E2 ... both of them pissed me off. Cheap, yes, but too short...

I also like the story line and game play in HL2. Crysis was a bit bland. My son, though, who is a big Crysis fan (and, especially MP) says "In what other game can you beat an opponent to death with a chicken?" To each his own...:hand:
