Recording and playing back demos

Is there any progrom outside of CoD that can play back the recorded demos? OR are there any programs that can record and save the demos? Basically i want to be able to record matches on my server then be able to play them back on my webserver and be able to have them play in windows media player. I guess also are there any programs that can convert the saved demos to media player format?

Creating videos from demos can be long winded and will take up a lot of hard drive space.

If you're set on trying it then use cl_avidemo (http://www.am-soft.ru/articles/Q3_demos_to_avi/) or Fraps (http://www.fraps.com/).
