Help finding server on different subnet

Hi,

I need some help trying to locate MOHAA:SH servers on a network with separate subnets. i.e. buddy's server is setup in a different building/subnet and I want to be able to see when it comes up so I can join in!

Is this possible? I looked at QTracker but that didn't seem to work for me. Anybody else have any success in doing this?

Could be a trick. A lot depends on how your network is configured and what kind of packets it allows to pass across subnets. Can you find his PC on network neighborhood? If so, you can find his IP and try to connect that way. But as to the a game browser finding it in the list, that depends on how the network is configured and what they allow to pass. Usually they subnet in order to restrict access and minimize traffic within each subnet by restricting various types of "chatter" to its own subnet instead of flooding the whole network.
