When I connect to our dedicated cod server running Windows 2003
I get the video glitch that you see in the link below.

I'm pretty sure it's a problem with the server because it looks fine when connect to other servers. The server only has an 8 MB video card in it, but I was under the impression that that shouldn't matter when running a dedicated server.

One thing I may have messed up on was I installed DirectX9 during the COD installation and received errors. Re ran setup after installing COD , didn't get errors but I got some warnings about certain DirectX functions being disabled.

If anyone can give me any help on this it would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

well i tell you this i had too upgrade the video card in our server also too run cod

in most games you dont need a grafics card but in this one i had too purchase a fairly decent card too get the game running

and direct x 9 is needed for COD so those errors will need too be fixed

Upgrading the video card is pretty much out of the question at this point, but thanks anyways.

Sorry I'm not sure that is true? I run CoD servers on a couple of dell servers with ATI onboard graphics cards (4 or 8mb) without a problem - nor have I installed DX9 on either server.

I can't see how a server could cause a client side graphics glitch at all ... give us the server IP and we can test it for you.

Got it figured out, uninstalled the game . Then just copied the necessary file over from the install on my system. Works like a champ and no video glitch
