It would apear that 24-Play.com a UK based games/website/TS host has gone off line permanently.

People have been let down again by Games Server provider. The support guys have lost their jobs, and are owed wages. The clients have lost cash, some had bought their hardware and are now trying desperately to get it back.

Four months back our clan paid for a CoD:4 & TS server for a year, well that's gone. It particularly hard for us because the same thing happened six months ago, 4U-Servers.co.uk did the same thing!

I'm not sure what the answer is, when looking for a new home for your clan it's tough to find the right one. Every ones website looks good, you don't know if you are investing in a stable company or one on the brink of collapse!

I guess that the only way is to get recommendations.

With that in mind who do you trust? Who out there can offer a good level of service? A company that has some real assets, not vaporware! Not a bunch of gamers that have become over extended but a proper company.

Suggestions please...

Just do like my clan does, we rent a dedicated machine from a reputable company. It may cost a bit more than just renting one game server, but we can administer and run multiple game servers, try out new games, even bring back old ones from time to time. I'm not all too familiar with UK based server hosts, but here in the US, there are probably 5 I can name off the top of my head.
