name change script?

i noticed some players have made their name flash different colors in the obituary screen. making them look animated.

is this similar to the old quake 2 name animation scripts?

where can i find em?

i was figuring i could probly make my own if i knew the console command to change your player nick

could someone atleast tell me that?

and isnt there also a command that you can change the names of players on your dedicated server?

if anyone knows of that script or these commands i would appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction for finding them
