i have tried to set up a server on my computer but when i try to start it on the internet it goes to the console box but nothing happens please help it is driving me mad[/code]

That is the server!
Minimize it,and restart cod mp,join a game,check local servers first,and see if you can see,and connect to your ip address
Then go to favourites and add your ip address and server name their,don't forget to set the filters to the same as you set in the game(pure etc.)
If the server is set up correctly you should be able to join it from there.
It may take a while for it to show up on lamespy or a.s.e and their are lots of things can go wrong.

p.s When the console starts on the desktop, type into the command box at the bottom, "serverinfo" then hit enter,and you should see a list of your server settings appear on the console.
