Server

Hiya All,
I've just got a new server with clanned.com and im new to admin with servers and i just tried RSD with Brecourt and it froze on me and i can now not connect to the server it wont let me in, do i need a server restart, if so how do you do server restart, ty

Hrm, you wouldn't be the same Issix I've seen over on the MPC forums now would you? Author or a few different "things" for MOHAA and CoD? :x :x(

If you locked the server and can't connect, you will need to restart the server; I assume your provider gave you web stop/start control?

As for "RSD", is that the actual gametype text you used?

Valid CoD gametypes are:

Retrieval = "re"
Search & Destroy = "sd"
Headquarters = "hq"
Behind Enemy Lines = "bel"
Team Death Match = "tdm"
Death Match = "dm"

So, in your sv_maprotation, you need to specify gametype and then map (i.e. set sv_maprotation "gametype re map brecourt").

Also, if you're manually changing a map and you wish to change the game type, you will need to change the gametype first, then load the new map:

/rcon gametype sd
/rcon map mp_brecourt

/rcon gametype tdm
/rcon map mp_brecourt
