Having Troubles getting into CoD

Hi all,
I'm no wiz at computer gadgets, but I'm having a bit of a trouboling time getting into the game. I'm not even getting into the single player game menu. Whenever I click on the Call of Duty icons, a pop-up comes into place and it says as the following:

Fatal Error:

configure_mp.csv not found

Then I click ok, and the Call of Duty console comes onto my screen and says as follows:

configure_mp.csv not found in red blinking lights, then in another box says:

As I stated before I'm no computer wiz, I just play the games & talk online.

If anyone could help me on this problem, I would be very gracious. My e-mail address is Anderson74M@Hotmail.com. Also, I just installed 1.2, I had 1.0 I think; I recently moved (month and a half ago) and just recieved my cable this week. So I'm a bit outdated on this one I think. I will take any help that is given to me!

a simple fix would be to just reinstal then patch

remember to always reboot your comp after you install any thing and that includes patchs before using the program this helps cut down on sillly litle problems like this

Hi killmore, thanks for your input but I've tried that. Whenever I reinstall the game it stalls at the pk file I'm missing, then moves onto others and that links to the pk file that I cant load. Well good thing I have a copy that is the Asian Pacific edition - long story - but I have reinstalled through that.
