Still not showing in browser??

Our server is still not showing in the cod4 browser even after the 1.5 update. Can someone please provide what should be in the config.cfg file that will allow it to link to the browser?

is it rented server jim? if it is, you should tell your provider to fix their shiz

Same as your self there Mech it is a GS server and not sure what ?.. How is yours set for the browser to find you sir?

mine is a clanbaselive server, and i have absolutely nuthin special in my cfg, as you can see here:

I would say GS has sumthin fubar on their server, like a misconfigured firewall or such.

rgr that Mech I was looking at your server.cfg and notice that Player config and weapong control are not included? Do you run these options or are they not rquired with COD4 and for older versions?

those are only needed for a unranked server. the ranked cfg is minimum in comparison.

I was wondering I searched for your server in the browser yesterday and could not find it except for putting it in the favourite by IP.

Also the response from my provider was that the COD4 browser drops inactive servers from the list with the only solutions are

turn off your browser for 30 min and restart

or

Go on play a few rounds and it should bring it back up.

Still think it's a crappy browser sorry I don't understand why they have not made a registration section to assure it shows up. :salute:

yea, it has some issues. i can find mine fine, but yours is missing to me. we're not the only ones, iw's forums are full of complaints. MoHAA took a couple years to sort out all the crap and i don't see cod4 being any different at this point lol.
