ok I really need help here Im not sure if Im being dumb or this really is a mountain and not the mole hill Im thinking it is.
Half the maps there are no instructions with or what game types they support Im told that not all maps are supported by 1.5 and we are experiencing problems with certain maps and people using windows vista.
Ok running custom maps and installing and redirects please correct me where Im wrong.
command line +fs_game mods/modernwarfare
install folder
cod4server/usermaps/folder for each map here
or
some maps Ive also found Ive had to
cod4server/mods/modernwarefare/usermaps/folder for each map here.
Or found some files have to go in one folder others in another.
We supposed to just use trial and error?
Is there any easy way around this?
Why have they made this so different from cod2?
Ive also found that the map loactions on server must reflect in the redirects only way I can seem to get it to work.
