I am trying to figure out what these settings do for me in cod4. I have seen them in a lot of setup scripts but I have no clue what they mean or what I should set them to. Before I remove them or set them I would like to have a pretty good idea what they mean to me as a admin. Any help is appreciated
set com_hunkMegs
set sv_maxRate
set g_inactivity
set g_inactivityspectator
set cl_autocmd
set sv_pure
set sv_allowAnonymous

set com_hunkMegs increases/decreases amount of memory used by the server
set sv_maxRate controls rate of data exchange between server and player
set g_inactivity controls inactive players
set g_inactivityspectator controls inactive players in spectate mode
set cl_autocmd dont know for sure yet.
set sv_pure requires players files to be same as the servers
set sv_allowAnonymous allows/disallows anonymous players to join the server

Thanks for the reply, but I need to make sure I understand what these guys do....
set com_hunkMegs - what advantage would I have in setting this and what are the ranges for it?
set sv_maxRate - is there a min or a max for this setting? what is the best setting for this?
set g_inactivity - do I just set this to one or is this a time based setting?
set g_inactivityspectator - do I just set this to one or is this a time based setting?

hunkmegs is memory, just like on your pc, 256, 512, etc.
i'm sure gsp's dont like people using this setting, it affects the box, so beware.
maxrate comes standard install at 5000, 5000-25000 is the known/used range, any real effect? unsure.
if my memory serves me right, the inactivity settings are in seconds.

While we are asking what is the meaning of this line it reads as such in my config folder
set net_noipx "1" // Allow ONLY tcp/ip protocol, player/server communications
what should be the proper setting?
Thanks in advance

set scr_game_spectatetype 1 is valid,
i dont remeber all the settings, but its 1-3 and sets free spectate, spectate team only, etc.
set net_noipx "1" // Allow ONLY tcp/ip protocol, player/server communications
that is the correct setting, prevents some type of phone network exchange from accessing the server. its real old and may be an out of date setting
