Auto Console Messages

hi all i dont know if this has been asked before, but here goes. i would like to ask if there is a way for a server to Run Auto Console Messages, for like Recruitment, server ip & so on..... like we had in Moh:AA & Moh:SP. if there is a way to get message to run when people are playing this would be great to all Servers & all Admins out here..

currently the only way to do this is via punkbuster


pb_sv_task 61 60 say "message 1"
pb_sv_task 62 60 say "message 2"
pb_sv_task 63 60 say "message 3"
and so on

ty for such a fast reply... to implement this into Punkbuster would i need Access to Punkbuster or just the server. i am new to this..

punkbuster is part of MOHA out of the box,

make sure you're running the latest version of the game enable PB and use the code above in your cfg file.

However if you do not use PB on your server then you are out of luck as there are no mods for Airborne right now other then some small ini tweaks.

Did you encase the string within quotes? I don't see a quote before the Welcome

where do you have the commands, in pb or your server cfg.

ok the file is in this location as follows: D:\Electronic Arts\Medal of Honor Airborne\UnrealEngine3\MOHAGame\pb then in a file called pbspam.CFG as this is what we have called the file...? is this wrong

oh well, got me man, i don't have a server to test on, used to but....

This works fine. However, I do get double lines (one from PB then an Admin Say in white letters right below the PB Say).

Make sure you put the above mentioned pb lines without quotes in a file called pbsvuser.cfg in your UnrealEngine 3\MOHAGame\pb folder. If your Punkbuster folder isn't here then punkbuster isn't working. Move your pb folder to this location.

If the pbsvuser.cfg isn't there create it using notepad. Using the Dedicated Server Remote tool enter pb_sv_restart to restart Punkbuster on the server. You can do this while players are on the server you are simply restarting punkbuster.

If anyone has fixed the double say from pb it would be much appreacied otherwise back to work trying to fix it.
