Looking for Serwatch that includes Anticheat that works with CoD 1.2?
The below link will explain more. It has been translated from German to English. If anyone can make out what exactly they are talking about on payment, please post here. It seems they have a paypal account now.

From what I am gathering from the posts, it will be 66 EURO's a year which is equal to $83.XX US dollars. Man, that is kinda steep IMHO. I was hoping more for a one time payment and would have been happy to pay it. They do have paypal setup now, which is a good thing. I posted on there forums to see if they would reconsider the cost.

I just wish their price was more like antivirus software, which runs about $20.00 to $30 dollars a year. Well I think I might get it for like 2 months until PB comes out. I really liked ServerWatch with anticheat, it worked great with CoD 1.1, I wish enforcer waited till he got SW working for 1.2 with anticheat before making this decision, but I respect his decision and believe it was difficult for him to make. He put alot of work into SW on his own time and didn't ask for any money, except donations.

Thanks Enforcer for creating SW and even without Anticheat it still a great tool.

Please don't anyone take this as a flame, but merely as an opinion from my view on the couch (or server... your analogy is as good as mine... well, if you're being nice).

First, I'm sure that SW with or without anticheat tools is worth looking into. But, I can't help but wonder how adding a price tag to any type of application is worth the trouble when PB's supposedly so close to being released for free.

Secondly, I understand that every modder and developer works really hard on their projects, but it boggles my mind to read that they're asking for money to do what they've been doing. So many modders out there are working just as hard to create stuff for our pleasure and do so partly for the challenge, partly for fun and partly out of the kindness of their hearts. With PB on the horizon, this simply looks like someone trying to get a piece of the pie.

I mean no disrespect. As I said, this is merely what it appears to be like from where I stand (or sit). If you wanted money for this stuff, why didn't you try getting in on that gig with IW from the get-go? Donations certainly makes more sense than saying people need to give you money for your efforts.

Look, we all (well, most of us) hate cheaters and a great deal of us wish that something was done to prevent being taken advantage of by these guys. But you can surely wait (and be more vigilant in the meantime) for PB to come out for CoD instead of this. The price tag is, as you said, much too steep for such a thing. And what happens when PB's out and widespread? Does SW end up unsupported? Makes me think it's money wasted, if you ask me.

My suggestion (since I've been so critical) is to lower that price tag to a one-time payment of $29 or something. Leasing the software drives me away from even looking at it, and if it weren't that, the price tag certainly would.

fist of all.
how many of the modders you think have been working with what they make for more than 1.5 year ?
And how many people that cods alone would you think would make over 1 mill lines of cods for a game ?

So i see your point in wondering.
becase no one knows how long time this has taken to build.

The serverWatch Servertool er for free.
And the once that dont want to use the Anticheat part dont have to pay anything for it.
And i can tell that SW is by far the biggest Servertool for Cod.
And it allso are the most advanced one with the most possibel ways to use it.
It is allso stuff in it that no other servertool have yet.
They will get it soon allso, they just need to take notis of what is put into the patch.
And it is allso me that made that option possibel to get, by talking to the makers of Cod and they liked the way i was thinking i gues.
becuse they added what i asked for i the first patch.

It has clientside that is possibel to use.
and now it allso is possibel to use the website to kontroll the Sw server and ban and stuff.
So it has a lot of cool stuff.
So if you dont want to even look at it, that is fine with me
it is your lost that you will use not as advanced tools on your server.. you will miss all the great things that are in the Servertool when you dont even want to take a look at it.

I wanted to clarify that "MKF Enforcer" the developer, is not selling his software to us users, he never did. He offered it free of charge to the community and asked for donations only. Recently he made a hard decision to sell the rights to a part of his software (the Anticheat Client) to a gaming league LGZ. This League choose to sell the software and at what price, not Enforcer. So please don't pull him into the cost. Enforcer has worked hard making ServerWatch and the tool is excellent. You can do more with it then any tool I have used or seen for CoD. It is as powerful as you make it! And all it takes is alittle knowledge you can get from google.com.

Then I say choose your words more wisely next time. Certainly there are many others out there who have very little time to spend combing the internet looking for tools that don't come packaged with the game (and yes, this includes admins) who turn to a website like this for information. Take such a person and have him/her stumble on your post which seemingly makes it look like you need to spend that much more money on TOP of the game, the cost to rent a server and/or bandwidth....

I'm sure the tool's great, especially for your purposes. Personally, although I don't directly manage the server I admin, all of the tools I really need are already there minus the one tool both of you said costs money - anti-cheat. Fortunately I have plenty of patience.

I have no intention of making this into a flame war as all I wanted was to comment on what wasn't very clear. So consider the matter dropped and I hope you enjoy the tool(s). No point in dragging this out, right?

Agreed! Honestly with PunkBuster coming SW anticheat really isn't needed, but the Tool ServerWatch is and still will be usefully for managing and monitoring. But mainly it will be useful for Moh AA, SH and BT, players since those games have no Punkbuster and never will.

Enforcer worked hard yep. And also sometimes he makes a mistake because he dont talk enough with other guys but finally i did.
Im sorry that im so stressed in the last weeks but that is what university live brings to me in the exams time.

I decided to make a step back again. Some of you told me what they want and what they dont want. That was interesting but not the main reason that is more in about some talks i had with the German community. So here we are again.

With a free version of AntiCheat.
As a little present ServerWatch also has a Web server included to manage the Server and look at the AntiCheat stuff now ;-)

BTW: you can still feel free to donate :D

Thank you Enforcer!!!! :) You made my day today and I will be happy to donate to ya!

I liked the anticheat so much, even if it was primarily for my own clan members to make sure they weren't cheating then it was for the public. Happy to hear its back.

Thanks
