Bare minimum server requirements

What are the bare minimum server specs needed for me to run a dedicated server for me and a few of my friends to kick around on? I have an older PC just sitting around, but I don't know if it's worth it. I know the game requirements, are the server requirements the same?

the server do almost not use any cpu at all.
So Would think it should be no problem for you to run a small server on a old computer.

So I would say.... try it and see. I would think it should work easy.

Server requirements are less. The clients are the ones having to perform all the effects.
If you have 512 or more ram and a fast enough HD, you'll be fine running a dedicated svr.
I've even run a 16 man UO Base Assault svr on a 5 year old box with a complete mod.
ISP bandwidth is more important than the pc, in most cases..
