Server Watch Help

Hi, we have 22 servers, and with school holidays apon us, would dearly like to get a Language Filter happening.

Apon recommendations here, i have begun to setup ServerWatch.

However the documentation is sparse, so if anybody that uses it, would like to post some tips etc, that would be awesome.

I have setup and updated (for COD4) Serverwatch on one of our boxes that has 3 COD4 Servers, and installed it using the COD example. my own client is installed and updated. And thats about as far as i have got .

You have put in the right exe file so it supports Cod4?

It is not to hard to get into how to set it up.
I am stilling working on my setup from time to time when i have the time for it.

This is one of my servers that uses SW

One of the few things i have put in are the time command.
So if you join the server and inside the server you use chatt to all and not team.
And you can try to just type "time" in the chat and see what happens. Or you can type !faq
Just some small stuff that i have put into SW.

Thankyou so much, that will be awesome! i havent had a chance to even play with it yet, been flatout keeping 450 cod4 players happy.

I will be able to sit down and seriously look at it saturday morning. thats the day after tomorrow morning (stupid time zones!) and any help your offering, i will grab with both hands. Do you use MSN/ICQ or Xfire at all?

I keep getting an unknown weapons error and it shuts down my FTP connection because of it.

Well it seems to me that you have used the setup for an old cod game or mohaa....
And it is put in some names for weapons. And that it dont find this weapons names.

That is the first thing i can think of.
My self i dont get any problems like that and i have never seen it before.

Worst case, send me a pm and use tight vnc remote and i might be able to see the problem you are talking about here. Or you can add me on msn also for a start.

When i installed, i chose example cod during the install, so will probably have the same problem i guess, as i then just overwrote the exe, with the new COD4 one.

Think i have to download it and install it the same way that you have done it to see if i can make the same errors that you get. More ease if i see the same to fix the errors

The problem is the weapons setup when using the cod setup for older cod games.
But easy to fix.

Just go into the advances options and into weapon identification and delet all the weapons there.

[12/21/2007 9:40:56 AM] : You are playing COD in a mode i dont know. That is a bug of the software or a strange Server setup from you. You should check that. Mode:SAB (setting SW to behave like on TeamMatch) You can add your GameMode to the ServerWatch.ini File UserGameMode_<name>=<ComparableModeNumber>.

Above are the errors that I'm getting. I do not have ANY weapons in the Weapons Identification tab.
