Charecter transfer.

Hello gang,
I am in need of some help please. I am trying to transfer a charecter off my laptop to my desk top in preperation for my new desk top.

Now the problem I am running into is A I havent a clue and B what I did did not work.

I went to my activision folder found the profile I wanted to transfer copied the folder by drag and drop to a scan disk walked 4 feet inserted said scan disk into desk top draged profile from scan disk to the players/profiles folder. Loaded game selected the profile went to log into a game and got an error reading stats stats had been reset and I am now back to lvl 1 woo hoo.

Ok, so now we know what I did. Can some one tell me what I need to do to make this bloody thing work right?

I did the same thing except I copied the whole Profile folder from the laptop to the desktop, not just the profile. Did you copy the active.txt file over?

I did and getting the error maybe my flash drive is screwing things up. Problem also is the other pc has profiles on it I cant mess up. Just trying to make sure the transfer works before I give me laptop to a friend once my new one comes.
