I hope for their sake its a PC based game. I think quite a few Developers have felt the sting of leaving out PC people to dry.

UO is the only PC game they've listed. Don't get your hopes up.

As Gray Matter they did some other activision game too... RTCW iirc, also PC.

Maybe they are visiting the Pacific this time.

A good Pacific theatre game would be nice. Not sure about this History channel game. Looks good.

The biggest issue with a game about the war in the Pacific is one of balance. The US weapons were more powerful but often the Japanese out numbers the US troops. This works well for single player game but causes real problems with the MP side of things. Seeing at all of us here are interested in MP it gives is a problem. Well it gives the game maker a problem... If you played MoH:PA then you know what I mean, if you are to be historically accurate with the weapons than you are in a world of pain with the balancing of the MP game.

So, strong single player content but weak MP game?!? sounds like a console game to me. Unless your talking about EA making it, then of course they will release a half arsed attempt!

I can only dream, it's a full blown WWII game with a great MP... damn you all - I can DREAM!

Would be interesting to see the CoD4 model of leveling up, lighting, graphics and game play. However CoD4 is a little too fast paced for me and I know I will get burnt out soon. I like a more team oriented game with strategy built in.

Right now, unless Airborne's 1.2 and 1.3 patches pull a miracle out of the hat we, WWII guys/gals have nothing to look forward too.

yeah but that's a wait and see title based on the past games in the franchise.

Funny how they are also using the same engine as Airborne but they decided to wait to release their game. That could be a good thing.

While I never liked the past BIA games, I will be keeping a close eye on that.

It has been rumored that Call of Duty 5 will be a flagship title for the Nintendo Wii. So, us PC gamers shouldn't get our hopes up yet :(
