We run our ranked pub server in hardcore mode.

Recently I set up a TWL match server and since I had to use the uber config options I ran it from the mods/modwarfare folder.

The problem is that the weapon damage in the match server in hardcore mode is not the same. In the pub server for instance one shot with the mp5 to the head equals a kill. In the other server it takes 2 shots. I have to assume then that the weapon damage part of hardcore is not functioning properly when running from the fs_game folder.

Anyone have similar problems?

As far as i know Hardcore mode doesn't change the weapon damage.
But what it does change is the amount of health the player has.
Normal health is 100
In Hardcore i think its 30, so you die easier and quicker

The dvar is:

set scr_player_maxhealth 100

I set mine to 75 coz 30 is just too low imo.

Tried that, no go.

In my server running from the mods/modwarfare folder I set the health to 30. It still takes two shots to the head to kill someone with the mp5. In my ranked server running hardcore mode it takes only one.
