Dear PunksBusted Community,
PsB had to temporarily suspend operations for a short period of time. First we want to apologize to the community for the delay in getting a message out. Know that the whole PsB team is working diligently behind the scenes arranging for a big return.
As some may already know, the PsB website has been under DDOS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks for the past week. It appears that the PsB Admin Members have been very successful doing the job of banning cheaters! The cheaters must be feeling the pain to go to such lengths to get out of their bans! They will never win this fight of course. Things like this only bring the anti-cheat community closer together and remind us why we are here. Being attacked gives us a renewed determination to stamp out all cheats. PsB will be back in a few days to continue to ban cheaters wherever we find them.
We will not relent. We will continue to shout our message. "If you get caught cheating on one of our member servers, you will be banned from all of our servers!"
Sadly, due to these attacks, we have had a casualty in the war against the punks. We must leave our long time friends and host, QwikHost. QwikHost has been awesome to us and the community at large. It has been an agonizing decision to make the last few days but we are moving away from our faithful host of 5 years. They have given and given until they can't give anymore. Thank you QwikHost, you are awesome!
The good news out of all of this is that we are now relocating to larger facility to better protect our servers.
This page will be updated with news as soon as our servers are on the way to our new partner and host. Details coming soon! We are sure absolutely positive that this new relationship will allow PsB to grow and prosper. Because of the attacks and being forced to take a break, we decided to turn this downtime into an opportunity to upgrade our systems. We decided to move on some of the changes that we never seemed to find the time to complete. We consider this growing pains.
As always, the PsB team intends to fully focus it's efforts on providing the community with the best tools to protect the admins from the punks. However, we can't do that without your support. You are PsB. Without you, PsB doesn't exist. Please let these attacks remind you that PsB is worth supporting. If you ever needed proof, you now have it. The punks hate us for a reason. What we are doing here is ground breaking.
We will be back up and running at full steam in a few short days. Hang in there and don't give up on us. We will be in the new facility fully powered and ready to rumble.

December 1, 2007 - Update!
Great news to report! The PsB equipment is now enroute heading towards its new home in a Dallas, Texas data center!

Our best estimated time of arrival is approximately 2 days. Once the equipment arrives at the data center, it will need to be setup. Setup will take at least a day for the data center to get the job done. Once the servers are setup, the PsB Team will need at least a day maybe two to get everything running and tested and to make sure all the servers are communicating and operating properly. So the best case scenerio is that we will be up, running, and banning in 3-4 days!

A few items of note: Because of this attack, we have decided to take the opportunity to upgrade almost everything. One of the upgrades had to do with the quality of the bandwidth we were using. PsB will now be running on the most reliable "Premium Internap" bandwidth. We decided to do this to insure that we have the ability to provide the best possible connections to our ban list servers for all members. We feel it is a priority to make sure that any admin who wants to stream and use the MBL, can get a rock solid connection from anywhere in the world. More on the new upgrades in the next update!

It's been 3 days now since their site has been up. Does anyone have any further updates as to their status?

compared to the time-scale they gave on their site on the 1st en 4th december, i guess they are having some major issues.
hope they will be back soon so i can setup up the streaming on my new dedicated server en de games running on it.

but we will have to be patient and give them the time so that every thing is working well when they are coming back to help the community catching the cheating #@$$%&;)

would be nice if we could get an update from one of the PSB.com admins here, so that we have a little idea how far they proceeded in the hard process of getting back online.

This is more then basic setup trouble. They've been completly down for a week straight now with nothing at all.

You'd think someone from their crew would take the time to post in some other community forums like HERE and let their user base know what's going on.

None of this is consistent with their last, "Hold tight, things are happening fast." message.
