Get some!

--ryan. PLEASE NOTE:

You'll need to copy the data files from a Windows install.

Punkbuster works, but you'll need to run its installer separately (instructions on how to do this from the commandline on your remote server are in the README).

GREAT....Thanks for your hardwork!

Funny, I see several people have their Linux servers up and running with pb

Worked just fine here at Clanwarz.com. Nothing wrong with PB as far as I can tell. So far so good.

pbsetup.run does absolutely nothing though.... maybe im doing something wrong?

Never mind... turns out you need something called UPX to run pbsetup.run

Neil posted this info on the Linux mailing list:

1, create a pb directory in the CoD4 root
> 2, copy the pbsetup.run into this directory
> 3, run the file
> 3.1 ./pbsetup.run -e
> 3.2 ./pbsetup.run --add-game-cod4
> --add-game-path=/comple-path-to-the-root-of-your-cod4-install
> 3.3 ./pbsetup.run -u
>
> The first to command don't visibly do anything except setup the
> environment for the last, which starts the file copy of the Linux files.
