Okay, here's my problem. I have a single box running 2 mohaa servers and 2 COD servers. I have a Gig of ram, and an AMD 2.6 running windows xp pro. The 4 servers run 75%-80% CPU usage and 750M ram usage with 60 clients. I am getting considerable lag spikes whenever a map changes in one of the other servers or any of a number of things happens.

My question is this, is there a way to isolate the game servers so they do not ineract so much with each other. Is there a way to define for the CPU how much it can allocated to each game? I have full access to the box via remote access so I can make any system changes I need to make. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, maybe I didn't explain what I am looking for well enough. I have 4 servers running on 1 dedicated box. Every time one of the servers changes maps etc. it spikes the whole box and lags out all 4 servers. Are there any settings that can used on a windows box running XP that I can do to minimize the impact that one server has on the others. In other words I am trying to limit the amount of CPU that each game server can take at any one time so that no one game server while changing maps etc. lags out the entire box.

Please, any info at all would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure if this will help in your case or not ut i figured i would pass this along just in case. In wndows XP you can bring up the task manager (ctrl+alt+del) then go to processes an right click on them an asign them a priority. I don't knwo if that woudl help out in your case or nto but it's worth a shot.
