Important INS Server Information
We have noticed that a lot of the servers experiencing frequent crashes are running Insurgency with several third-party plug-ins and changes to the squad and player classes scripts.

Insurgency Beta 2 does not work properly if squad and player classes scripts are modified or replaced by custom ones.

We would like to advise all server admins to remove third-party plugins and any modification and run their servers as standard as possible - preferably completely standard - to avoid many crashes and issues. Insurgency Beta 2 is not fully compatible with those modifications.

Important information: To prevent crashes based on poor performance, please limit the servers to 16 players. 16 player servers will be more stable and cause less server-related crashes. Note this will not prevent client crashes, but will reduce the load on the server and improve noticeably the performance of the game - meaning a much more enjoyable experience for the players. Therefore, 16 players servers are recommended, 24 if the performance seems stable enough. 32 player servers are NOT recommended at this stage.

Regarding third-party server plugins, we advise all server admins to remove those plugins and check if the servers are less prone to crashing, and then enable them one by one with adequate testing to find out if they decrease stability, removing those plug-ins that are not fully compatible with the current version.

In future hotfixes of Insurgency Beta 2 we will add better support for third-party plug-ins and modifications of the player classes and squad layouts. Until then, standard non-modified servers will be much more stable than modified ones.

We would like to advise server admins to especify on the server name any modifications done to the standard server squad/player/weapon scripts, and to especify with the tag [Std] those that are running unmodified versions of the server files.

We are sure that with this collective effort players will be able to enjoy the game without experiencing as many crashes and bugs. Some other bugs are present and included on the "known issues" section of the changelog (http://forums.insmod.net/index.php?showtopic=13426&st=0#entry209644), and others are being collected to be revised and fixed in a future hotfix.
