Evenbalance Updates PB for CoD4 Clients

Punkbuster issued an update this afternoon for the CoD4 clients:



Saturday 11.17.2007 [8:00PM]
Version 2.009 of the PB Client for COD4 has been released to our PB Master Servers for auto-update and to our website download page. This is a maintenance release.


Looks like there are some major problems with this update and people getting kicked because of the clients not updating.

Personally the Punkbuster Setup Utility works great for me

Or you can try typing \pb_update while ingame

It's kicking everybody out of the server! within 5min both my server empty.

Yes, major fubar on this update. Cleared all 4 of our servers out in short order. Clients have to manually update their clients as autoupdate does not appear to be working.:o

So we manually have to do this? I reading over at gameserver forum people did the update and it still didn't work.

I can't even manually update. It says the PB server can't be reached to get the update.

This freakin sucks.
