All unlocks LOST!!

We loaded a server and called the Mods/moderwarefare folder to see what it would run like. Seems everyone who logged into this server lost all there rankings and unlocks? Anyone know why this happened? :confused:

But if thats the case then our unlocks should still be available and they are not.

EDIT: Well I found the answer...

Seems the server was put up calling the mod\foldername instead of mod/foldername and if you enter a server that has that wrong switch it corrupts the mpdata file.

fs_game Mods/Modwarfare = correct

fs_game Mods\Modwarfare = eveyone who joins your server looses their ranks.

Hopefully IW will correct this so it isn't possible in the first patch.

Yeah I encountered problems when I downloaded and played this as well (took all day yesterday to get my General rank back). I am not going to join any servers that are using this, I will wait for a version of PAM rather than use this thing again. Not only wiped my rank but I had to re-enter all of my weapons with perks again, last time I use that program.

Wow. That really sucks. Unranked servers are going to have an even harder time than they would've had to begin with now.

People are going to be paranoid that they might lose their rankings/etc if they connect. :o

Looks like they have a fix for it.

It's a zip file with a new iw3mp.exe in it. Just extract the file to your Call of Duty 4-Modern Warefare folder, replacing the current file.
There is no installer and don't bother double clicking on the file after extracting it as it will cause an error (since it's not an installer but just a replacement file).
